Baklava premiere
Maison Eau de Couture, an emerging brand founded in 2018, has been able to carve out a prominent place for itself in the world of artistic perfumery thanks to its fragrances that unite East and West. The new fragrance Baklava al sultan, distributed exclusively by Seven Sisters for Italy, is a tribute to the flavours and aromas of the Turkish confectionery tradition, evoking a rich olfactory journey through the scents of the dessert of the same name.
The top notes of this gourmand fragrance are dominated by pistachio and hazelnut, recalling the crunchy and savoury beginning of the sweet baklava. The heart notes, on the other hand, include baklava itself, accompanied by orange blossom, jasmine and white peach, adding a floral and fruity touch to the sugary opulence of the heart. The base notes, with tonka bean, honey and loukoum, recall the intense, enveloping sweetness typical of Turkish sweets such as loukoum, a soft, velvety finish that leaves a memorable trail.
Baklava manages to capture the essence of its culinary inspiration, transforming the ingredients of the dessert into a layered and luxurious olfactory experience. Maison Eau de Couture, through this fragrance, celebrates the fusion of art and craftsmanship, maintaining a strong link to oriental tradition, but with a modern and sophisticated twist.
