Memento Amoris is born from remembrance, emotion, and the passing of time. It is an intimate, profound creation inspired by an everyday gesture transformed into a sensory experience. This is not a literal dessert fragrance. It is the evocation of a moment, a presence, an emotional bond taking shape on the skin.

Created by Maison Eau de Couture in collaboration with Meo Fusciuni, Memento Amoris explores the delicate boundary between sweetness and shadow, between a suggested gourmand accord and a woody, powdery, sensual structure.

The perfumer’s story

For Meo Fusciuni, Memento Amoris is a deeply personal journey. At the heart of the composition lies his mother’s tiramisu — a recipe that embodies both tradition and modernity, translated here into olfactory language.

The opening reveals amaretto, an unconventional element in the original recipe but one his mother loved to use. Notes of sweet and bitter almond awaken the senses and immediately spark curiosity.

We then move into the heart of the dessert: savoiardi biscuit soaked in lightly liqueured coffee. The rich, multi-layered coffee absolute releases a wave of emotions — smiles, memories, suspended moments in time.

Another key protagonist is cocoa absolute, unfolding through facets of dark chocolate, cocoa powder, and soft milky nuances, enriched by the floral-fruity tones of osmanthus absolute and the rounded warmth of vanilla absolute.

As with every memorable dessert, what remains is pleasure… and the memory of a beautiful moment.

The drydown reveals a deep, woody and powdery trail: patchouli, iris, and cashmeran intertwine with cedarwood, sandalwood, ambergris, and musks, creating a tactile, living sensation connected to the memory of time passing. An olfactory signature that speaks of identity, life, and permanence.
