Vetiverdiminuito by Notefluide is a fragrance that deceives with its name, as vetiver actually dominates the olfactory scene, rather than being ‘diminished’. The fragrance celebrates vetiver in all its woody, earthy and smoky nuances, imparting a warm and enveloping sensation. Alongside this iconic ingredient, we find patchouli, which further reinforces its masculine and nostalgic presence, evoking classic scents of the past such as Guerlain’s famous Vetiver.
The addition of benzoin and coconut modernises the composition, softening it without making it banal, while a touch of pink pepper and frankincense brings a certain liveliness and verticality. The result is a fragrance reminiscent of men of bygone days, but projecting into the future, offering a melancholic yet smiling reflection on times past.
Vetiverdiminuito is an olfactory experience that combines tradition and innovation, with a hint of coconut that surprises, breaking classicism and giving it a more contemporary and sophisticated touch.
